Before You Begin
Compliance and Fees
There are two types of fees associated with using 10DLC, campaign fees and pass-thru fees for each message sent. See 10DLC Fees for a detailed breakdown of prices.
Non-compliance Fees
We highly recommend that you familiarize yourself with carrier codes of conduct for details of each carrier’s unique expectations for successful delivery of content on their network.
Customers who have signed an agreement with T-Mobile or AT&T to provide messaging campaigns through their network are expected to ensure that each campaign is completely compliant with all legal requirements. Failure to comply will incur non-compliance fees described below. See Non-Compliance Fees - 10 Digit Long Code for a detailed breakdown of prices.
Text Enablement
This pass-thru fee is applicable if T-Mobile receives a compliant that traffic is being sent from a 10DLC prior to T-Mobile's approval.
10DLC Messaging Program Evasion
This pass-thru fee is applicable if you are found to use carrier's network for evasion techniques like snowshoeing, unauthorized number replacement, and dynamic routing.
Content Violation
Content violation is defined as sending messages in violation of the rules in the Code of Conduct. These are usually SHAFT violations (Sex, Hate, Alcohol, Firearms, Tobacco), but would also include spam or phishing, or messaging that meets the threshold of a Severity 0 violation per the CTIA Short Code Monitoring Handbook.
This T-Mobile-specific pass-thru fee is applicable for each unique notification of content violation involving the same content provider.
