Added new self-service tool called Analyze, which lets you access data visualization dashboards and reports. You can access Analyze through the Customer Portal.

  • Access new dashboards, Latency and Opt-Out Request,s from Dashboard in Analyze.
  • Access the existing dashboards, Messages (aka SMS Volume) and Country (aka Country & Success Rates) from Dashboard in Analyze.
  • Access the existing Reporting Insights from Reports in Analyze.
  • Access the existing SMS Activity Search from Logs in Analyze.

Added new self-service tool, Numbers that handles 10DLC numbers registration and setup process.

Numbers replaces our previous 10DLC tool called Originators & Campaigns (ORCA)and is available in the new Customer Portal. Your login credentials to Customer Portal are the same as they were to Customer Center.

April 2021 If you are using either the v3 or v4 SMS HTTP or SMPP products, messages sent from 10DLC source numbers are now being analyzed for spam. For information about spam filtering, see What to Know about Spam Filtering.

If you are using either the v3 or v4 SMS SMS HTTP or SMPP products, you can use 10DLCs as source numbers (originators). For more information see our Originators & Campaigns guide.

Changed the endpoint for operator lookup request from...

https://smsc.openmarket.com/sms/v4/preview/<phone number>

...to

https://preview.openmarket.com/sms/v4/preview/<phone number>

By separating the lookup (preview) service from the core SMS service, we have improved its overall reliability and performance.

Added the ability to send branded messages through the v4 HTTP API. For details see Branded Messaging.

Removed the "wireless" parameter from the Mobile Operator Lookup operation for both XML and JSON in the v4 HTTP API.
